My name is Erin Russell.  I have been practicing massage for 7 years with my license.  I attended the Alexandar School of Natural Therapeutics, graduating in 2009 from my eleven month program.  During my time there I learned Anatomy, Kinesiology (study of movement), physiology, pathology(related to massage, i.e. skin conditions), Swedish 1 and Swedish 2, trigger point/myofascial release(deep tissue), hot stone massage, pregnancy massage and spa techniques.  In 2010 I passed my National Board Exam and received my license.

My first massage job was working for a chiropractor out of Federal Way and Dupont.  There i did a variety of massage and was really immersed into injury treatment.  I got credentialed with a few insurance companies including Premera, United Healthcare, Cigna, Aetna, American Specialty Health, CAQH. I helped treat many patients after car accidents.

In 2012 I took continuing education in craniosacral which is a milder form of bodywork with a light touch which unlocks the body's natural rhythm, relaxing, relieving pain and promoting general healing.

In 2013, I received my Reiki 1 certification. Reiki is a form of energy work. A reiki treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that many experience as heat that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person body, emotions, mind and spirit. Benefiting your overall being by relaxation and feelings of peace and well being. Reiki is simple, natural and safe method of healing and self improvement.

I started Charmed Arms in March of 2014. I joined the float center in 2015. I love the space that I have now and am glad to work in an environment I love!

Have a Charmed day! :)
